Breaking Ground: Mustang Park Community Center Begins Construction in Fresno

Breaking Ground in Fresno

HINESAD joined Fort Bend County leadership, including Precinct 2 Commissioner Grady Prestage, to break ground on Mustang Park, a new community center and 15-acre recreational campus designed to support the cultural, educational, and wellness needs of this growing region.

This milestone marks more than the start of construction. It reflects a long-term commitment to building public spaces that bring people together. From youth sports to family gatherings, Mustang Park is envisioned as a central hub where civic life and everyday life intersect.

At HINESAD, our design engagements prioritize collaboration and intentionality. This project reflects those values born of close dialogue with county leaders and inspired by Commissioner Prestage’s vision for a civic anchor that strengthens community identity while opening new possibilities for connection, wellness, and play.
