AIA CKLDP – Expanding the Definition of Practice
Daimian Hines Serves as Panelist for National Leadership Program
Daimian S. Hines was invited to serve as a panelist for the 2022–2023 AIA Christopher Kelley Leadership Development Program (CKLDP), a prestigious, yearlong initiative that brings together 12 emerging leaders in architecture from across the country.
The panel, Expanding the Definition of Practice, explored the evolving role of architects as civic leaders, cultural stewards, and global practitioners. Hines was asked to share insights from his work leading HINESAD—an architecture firm known for projects that reshape communities and expand conversations about equity, heritage, and design justice.
“Participating as a panelist in both the 2019–2020 and 2022–2023 cohorts is always meaningful,” said Hines. “These invitations remind me that a new generation of talented designers is seeking bold ways to innovate and transform our industry.”
The AIA CKLDP continues to serve as a platform for leadership, vision, and redefining the future of architectural practice.
